Macerich Property Sites

The Problem
50+ retail and mixed-use properties managed by Macerich all share the same CMS but not necessarily the same audience. How do you build a website that’s easy to use for property managers who need to consider such a wide range of users and content?

The Solution
A responsive modular system that gives them the control they desire and the flexibility they need. This new site—optimized for mobile—includes a revamped homepage that brings seasonal stories and featured retailers to the front page, new interior pages including directories with updated filter and search functions, and templated campaign pages for timely content from the properties. And, oh yeah, WCAG compliant interactions and layout. 

Through extensive research, wireframing, design, and development, we were able to build a site that is easily customized for a spectrum of shoppers—from Santa Monica Place and Scottsdale Fashion Square to Chicago Fashion Outlets.
